From the Field: Real Customer Feedback on Spend

Spend, part of the Snap! Mobile One platform, is a digital banking and financial management solution designed to give youth sports teams and clubs everything they need to manage money with ease and transparency. Spend was formerly known as Groundwork.

And it works. Customers love the product’s features, the streamlined processes, and the peace of mind it brings to team administrators, treasurers, and club leaders. The feedback consistently comes down to two words: ease and transparency.

Ease

Sandy Baker, Club Administrator of Washington Rush, first chose the platform when it was called Groundwork because: “We needed a way to pay team fees and collect in one place versus cash and checks. We needed a more robust, one-stop shop solution.”

The onboarding was smooth:
“It has been a great experience. Wasn’t too hard to get the teams set up. Team admins just needed to fill out KYC.”

Rob Morton, Operations Director of Liverpool FC International Academy, came to Spend for more control and streamlined volunteer processes:
“As the software improved, the debit cards and team bank accounts were game-changers.”

With 21 teams and around 300 players, managing finances used to be complicated. Now, each team has its own treasurer with a debit card, supported by clear training and documentation:

For Rob Morton, the transparency quickly became his favorite part:
“Accountability—a central place to go to see the player and team information. Almost all teams have a team manager who manages the account directly. The ones who do not have a TM go through the club treasurer.”
